Rev. Sandie Vanik has served as minister at Unity of Michiana (formerly Unity Church of Peace) since she was ordained in 2007. In 2019, the ministry sold its building and moved to a new location, which has been completely renovated. Rev. Sandie was also a member of the board of trustees for Unity Worldwide Ministries. Additionally, she served on the Great Lakes Region board of trustees (2011–2016) as executive ministry team liaison to the regional conference planning team. Prior to that she had served at Unity Church of South Bay in Torrance, California, for 25+ years, serving in many capacities including president of the board of trustees.
